A retro hangout for Hack Clubbers who think ANSI art is cool and Telnet is the future. Like Discord, but with more door games and fewer emojis.

By shipping your project, you're marking it as complete and it'll enter matchmaking. However, you will NOT be able to edit it anymore.
Hey everyone! I wanted to post a little announcement about my project. As you might have seen, the progress has been slow recently. That is because I got burned out. I got to a point where it's very hard to do things, and I just don't feel like doing anything. I'm thinking of dropping this project entirely, so all my stonkers might want to unstake the project, because it's going to be a guaranteed loss.
As for the update, I moved the BBS to a VPS and you can join it by connecting via telnet to 209.38.251.76. I recommend using SyncTerm, because it supports ANSI art that can be found around the BBS. I will try to log in daily to verify users and chat with people, but you still might want to DM me on slack just to tell me that you created an account.
Created a special menu for unverified users
Created a SysOp notification system for verification applications
Created a New User questionnaire
Got Python 3 working and created a small test script
Set up a connection to an external Door game server.
Why did it take one hour to connect to a server when you have clear instructions? Cuz it's hard :(
Would love to show how this works, but the game server has some problems (I sent a message to the owner, all I have to do now is wait)
Installed the server software and set everything up
I won’t be able to submit it for voting, because it doesn’t have 10 updates. Sorry :(
I’m undecided whether I want to unstake this :( It already looks really good and it might win already at the state it’s at
