SAM (Send A Message) is a desktop-friendly IoT device built using the ESP32 CYD microcontroller. Designed to bring a personal touch to digital communication, SAM allows users to receive messages from friends via a connected web dashboard. When a message is sent, the device displays it in a warm and friendly format, along with the sender's name, the current date, and time, adding a layer of personality to every interaction. Whether it’s a motivational quote, a reminder, or a simple “hello,” SAM delivers messages in a charming and meaningful way, bridging the gap between the digital and physical worlds.

Setup requirements to setup and created a very clear documentation outline to setup your own SAM! More features coming soon!
Added well documented ReadMe
Docs are now live @ mntadros.github.io/SAM-CYD !
Setup hosting for docs, reworked docs for better readability, reworked file structure and readme for easier user setup
reworked some components of the main managing class, implementing a way to sign into wifi through touchscreen
Updated docs for better readability
Worked on adding a config file to easily update your device id, wifi ssd and password along with your timezone and api link (to allow for self-hosting). Fixed formatting.
Finalized the SAM design plan, restructured the documentation for clarity, and began developing the 3D model for the case!
Finished setting up the base of the documentation and built the dashboard, which now successfully sends messages. Also reworked the ESP code to receive messages and update the screen accordingly.
Next on the to-do list: optimize everything to account for hardware limitations, improve the overall UI/UX, and most likely implement a more secure method for sending and receiving messages.
Added README and very initial rough draft of the MVP. Also added a banner of the mascot of the project, his name is SAM (see below)!
