So, it's been a while...
Since last update I got a lot of very cool stuff workingish like a grappling blade thing and some more very fun movement tech.
Unfortunatly I was informed that projects for other YSWSs are NOT allowed on journey and this was for hackcraft sooo:
THIS PROJECT WILL NOT SHIP. WITHDRAW YOUR STONKS PLS
So I kinda forgot to post an update yesterday and did not do that much today but now we have:
New movement code and sliding
Epic wallrunning and jumping
Many lost hours because SOMEONE at mojang rounded the collision code and only approximately checked for HORIZONTAL collision but used precise for VERTICAL which my sensitive wallrun detection heavily relied on
Some kind of WIP blade that can grapple and will soon do some satisfying slicing
Today I decided to do a full 180 and focus on fun instead of story as this is never going to be perfect anyways, I have started working on some movement tech that I will be continuing tomorrow.
So I just got operated :(
Well anyways recently I added these tables with dynamic legs and a pretty item preview.
Now all clocks actually show the in game time,
And I also added some custom crosshairs and cursors.
Currently I am working on a system that allows you to repair these pocket watches and it is coming along nicely :)
I am kind of losing track of my updates so you can now find the WIP source code on github!
That's it for today... we have about 10 days remaining and no game, so I will get back to coding now
Did I completely ignore my todos? Well yes, but now we have a Cuckoo Clock (does not work yet)
and a table that can display items and will do some more important stuff later.
Previously done:
Added a grandfather's clock.
Added a custom title screen.
Added way too much post processing.
Done now:
Added a dialogue system.
Added depth of field.
Working on:
Make clock handles rotate correctly
Build the map.
